Harrogate Local Strategic Partnership

The LSP was in need of some revitalisation in view of the new Local Area Agreement coming into play. Partners needed to be reengaged with the process and the roles of the officers and executive board needed greater clarity. I ran a series of facilitated sessions with the whole LSP, one focussed on structural solutions and one on leadership.

As a result members choose work in thematic groups and developed priority outcomes, which were then consulted on at a large community consultation. We used OPERA to structure the consultation, the 60 participants came up with ideas, projects and suggestions to fulfil the outcomes in each of the six themes. These then formed the basis of the new community strategy for the district and the work plan for the thematic working groups of the LSP.
