This was a year long piece of development work, brought about by the desire of the two organisations to formalise their partnership in order to provide infrastructure services across the whole district. Interviews with staff from both organisations resulted in a document mapping out service provision and making recommendations for the future.
These were developed at a joint staff awayday and resulted in the development of a partnership strategy undertaking to achieve various joint functions such as a shared newsletter and joint branding and consultations. A joint meeting of trustees moved the relationship on even further, and on going monitoring of the plan and support of the two directors ensured progress was steady. A final review meeting with both staff teams examined the learning from the project and came up with various actions to take the partnership even further forward into the future.
