I worked with the Council Officers to plan and facilitate a review of the District Community Strategy. 90 participants carried out an OPERA exercise to revisit and set the overarching priorities for the district for the local strategic partnership. The entire conference eventually came up with seven clear priority areas, total agreement across the room. The afternoon session was a facilitated discussion on how to improve the structure of the LSP. Recommendations from the day have now informed the new strategy and the structure of the LSP
Thought I would be bored - I was not !!!
Vast complex process but demonstrated widespread ownership and commitment.
